New Treatment for Allergic Response Targets Mast Cells

While I appreciate novel therapeutic options, in this case, I wonder if this therapy might lead to unexpected consequences. If the other articles this week are true, then excessively blocking mast cells and IGE coud raise our risk of severe bacterial infections.  We use natural therapies to lower mast cell hyperactivity, we don’t want to “turn things off” completely.
