Facemask Research Website Question 3

This week’s main post considered a study comparing the efficacy if different materials used to make masks in the era of COVID.  With a few quick mini posts, I want to evaluate this site from the University of Cambridge.  The site appears intended to provide “research” on how to protect oneself from viral infections like COVID.  Each mini-post will have a question and opportunity to participate in the movement.

Today’s question:  What other sites do you need to counterbalance this site’s focus and bias?

Today, begin making a list of resources (if you have not done so already).  You cannot depend on one site for all your information.  Even the best site will either have some bias or cannot cover every necessary topic.  With a wealth of resources weighed against each other, you are more likely to come out with a balanced and true view of a given question.  Also, as you build these resource lists, consider saving copies for yourself on your computer or printed out.  We may not always have access to resources with the amount of censoring that is developing online.  Take the time to save and organize your resources for later use.

Then we can be aware and prepared for 2020 and beyond.
