With Long COVID syndrome, we look to past viral epidemics and compare their aftereffects to Long COVID for clues to understanding our present day challenge. The Russian Flu’s of 1889 and 1892, the Spanish Flu of 1928, and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis offer clues that we would do well to study.
